Azul Terra is a ceramic studio founded in 2018 in Sintra, Portugal, born from the shared passion of a mother and daughter for the art of ceramics. Beyond creating artistic and handcrafted pieces, the studio offers hands-on classes and experiences open to anyone wishing to explore the world of clay. Over the years, the project has grown organically — a journey of discovery and exchange between two generations. More than just a workspace, Azul Terra is a place for experimentation and research, where creative freedom and innovation are always valued. Specializing in ceramics and traditional Portuguese tile painting (azulejo), the studio welcomes beginners and enthusiasts alike, inviting them to slow down, get their hands dirty, and create something truly unique.
